We can help facilitate the importing and Exporting of caravans to almost any Worldwide destination and we will help you achieve the best price in shipping your chosen tourer to a destination of your choice. Simply follow our 6 easy steps below…..
Step 1 | Find A Suitable caravan from our quality selection. Click here to browse caravans or motorhomes |
Step 2 | Let us know which caravan is of interest to you. Contact Scott Jeffries on scott.jeffries@newportcaravans.com and we will email you back a personal link which will include a CitNow video with audible commentary on your chosen caravan. |
Step3 | Caravan Quotation – Now we know what you require you will receive a ‘best price’ quotation. This can also include any extras that you may require including Starter packs and motor movers. |
Step 4 | Shipping Quotation – We will pass your details onto one of our valued shipping partners whom will work out the full cost of transportation to your preferred destination – alternatively you can arrange shipping yourself. We will not add any margin onto the cost of shipping – the price we are quoted is the price you pay. |
Step 5 | Once you are happy to proceed we will process a deposit of £1,000 and set to preparing your caravan through our NCC approved workshop facility. This will include a full NCC approved service. You will receive a copy of the service report which will include a full damp report, carbon monoxide test, gas leak test and various component checks. We will also include any remedial work which has been carried out. We will also carry out an internal and external Valet. We do not charge for the preparation and all tyres over the age of 5 years are replaced with new. |
Step 6 | Delivery – Once a shipping date is confirmed we will require payment in full prior to delivery to Port or to your own nominated Port. The caravan will be covered under our own insurance policy whilst in our care. Once delivered to Port insurance becomes the responsibility of the shipping company. The shipping company will prepare the caravan for its voyage by carefully wrapping and will take extra care of windows and external trims to prevent damage en-route and will be carefully fastened into a shipping container. |
On arrival our shipping agent will manage any local customs clearance and assist with any duty and tax procedures if applicable.
