We bought our new caravan in September 2019 - our third from Newport Caravans and cannot speak highly enough of your dealership. We spent the best part of October, November and December in the van and had a great time. We keep our caravan “just around the corner” from our house and on returning home laid it up for winter. To cut a long story short soon after laying the caravan up we were made aware by Swift Command that the leisure battery was low and required recharging. This was duly carried out but within 3 or 4 days discharged again. This happened a few times before it dawned on us that this wasn’t correct. We put up with it over Christmas and early in the New Year contacted your “after sales” team and spoke to Rhys.
Rhys was very understanding and took charge of the problem which turned out to be the Swift Command Console in the van. A new part was ordered and within 10 days the fault was rectified. We live quite a distance from Newport and this was recognised by Rhys. As soon as we arrived the van was whisked away, repaired and we were on our way home within 3 hours but not before being refreshed with numerous cups of coffee by your friendly café staff – great service thank you.
We would reiterate the whole experience was first class, all staff we met were friendly, helpful and efficient especially Rhys. Great teamwork, a BIG THANK YOU everyone."

A day out to the NEC show last October concluded with a decision to change our motorhome. and a Bessacarr 462 was decided upon. A visit to the Newport Caravans stand was most fortuitous as they were expecting a vehicle in November. The staff were most welcoming and helpful and the deal was done with a few extras to be fitted. We were kept informed at all times of progress regarding delivery and were able to collect the vehicle in December.
Subsequently, a couple of things needed attention in January, and these were sorted out speedily by Newport Caravans, without a problem.
We are delighted with the Bessacarr and also with the friendly and efficient service from Newport Caravans. We can thoroughly recommend both.
Good morning, I would just like to thank you the Manager and Rhod for the after sales experience that we received on Monday morning after bringing back our bailey pursuit 430 / 4. The experience of the van was very stressful and my night was full of dread wondering what excuse was going to come out, but what I did receive was in my view outstanding customer service which will be mirrored in the 4 biggest Facebook groups for caravans and motorhomes which many have followed through my search for a great van. All I hope now is Rhod can get us a better add on deal from the NEC for the brand new sprite major 4FB we will be buying off you with confidence.

It's very rare for me to passionate enough about anything to want to write about it unless I've been wronged or ripped off but today I wanted to share my positive experience of caravan dealers.
We are seasoned campers, we have been sleeping under canvas for many years and last year we took the big decision to buy our first caravan, big investment for us, took alot of saving and a considerable amount of worrying but in Feb 2012 we saw a van we liked in Newport Caravans, anyway we bought it, an Elddis Avante 2003, the dealer gave us a free starter pack inc all the essentials like battery, water/waste containers, steps, Hitchcock, wheelclamp etc...
The van came with a 12 month warranty, we needed a complete novice introduction to the van on collection and the dealership had a lovely fella spend an hour with us showing us how to connect the water pump etc... In our household (me, my useless man and two Bichon mutts) I am the only driver so that was a concern too but a little coaching and even though I get some strange looks as a female behind the wheel its been fine. During the time we had the van we have had a kitchen tap leak, took it into the dealer they replaced the tap, the old status aerial wasn't picking up any signal, they changed it for a snazzy Status 530 and each time we have felt like their one and only special customer.
Now it's out of warranty after the winter storage 'Colin' the caravan had a few issues like freezer door wouldnt stay closed, the bathroom tap was leaking from below, a small crack has appeared on the rear bumper of the van above the number plate and the awning light was flickering. We booked it it, prepared ourselves for the £250 bill thinking that the posh bathroom tap is at least £60 on its own at least.
We collected it yesterday, all job fixed, including a full external wash of the van and our bill £40 and some pence. Again Mark the Director was there moving and hooking up vans, came over for a chat and even noticed we had changed our car (blinking caravan has made me a Chelsea tractor Land Rover Discovery driver).
I feel so relaxed about my caravan maintenance, I don't worry about it, they have superb customer services and I am pretty lucky to have them only 10 miles down the road.
I can't wait to change my van and upgrade it in Newport caravans when my piggy bank gets enough pennies in it. Absolutely marvellous dealership, promise I don't work there just thought after all the sad and unfortunate stories about bad ones I would share a positive story.
Having had the misfortune to damage a caravan which included the repair of both side windows, multiple dents and a battery box damaged. I arranged for Newport Caravans to carry out the repairs The result was nothing short of amazing, the quality of workmanship and professionalism was first class and I would recommend them for any caravan repair without hesitation.

The wind blew a sky light off our caravan on the weekend. Whilst Newport Caravans did not have one on the shelf, the shop lady was very helpful and got one delivered to my work address the following morning.
